opal blue radiance of jeweled eyes
cheekbones as prominent as carved vallies

Beauty as pale shadow
of overwhelming fantasy
proximity raises desire
tangibility as pursuit of a glowing mind

Cheerfully tinkling voices brush desire
as a mountain river to the distanced hiker
soft hands, sharp as the best tools
of the lovestruck tinkerer
